Drawing on over three decades of experience in strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership development, Rick developed the Ideas-to-Action methodology. This proven process, the culmination of his experience, transforms employees into drivers of change and is detailed in Ideas to Action, a practical roadmap for organizational transformation.

The Journey to Ideas to Action: From Insight to Authorship
Rick’s passion for continuous improvement was sparked during his time helping to establish Motorola University’s pioneering corporate learning model. This experience led him to study Japan’s Total Quality Management practices, where he witnessed firsthand the power of employee-driven innovation.
Driven by this insight, Rick founded Leap Technologies, a consulting and training company dedicated to helping leaders harness employee ideas for rapid and effective change. Years of experience guiding organizations through employee-driven change initiatives, combined with a deep understanding of leadership’s crucial role, inspired Rick to codify his methodology. This led to the writing of Ideas to Action, a practical guide designed to help leaders everywhere unlock their organization’s hidden genius.
Now, with Leap Academy, he brings the proven Ideas-to-Action methodology to leaders and teams worldwide, equipping them with digital tools to unlock their workforce’s potential and drive faster innovation and results in today’s hybrid workplaces.
